So, an amazing thing just happened. With Invasion complete and published and City complete and ready to publish, my partner Trystan asked me to hold off. Trystan had some reservations about using AI at all in the process of writing music, but after seeing how I went about it, how I focused on using AI as a tool and not a generator, he was inspired to take a closer look at some of my songs. He was surprised, hopefully in a good way, to hear the emotion and soul in the music, but he didn’t like the quality of the mastered tracks.

I had to agree, but it’s a learn as you go process, and as this music is mostly for my own enjoyment I wasn’t that concerned with professional studio quality mastering, just good enough to listen to on streaming services. Trystan disagreed and insisted if we could get that quality, or close to it, we should. And then he fully remixed and mastered one of my tracks and blew me away.

Okay, so now instead of a personal solo project, VISIØN is now a duo.

City has now been completely redone and is ready for release on March 31, with Trystan’s near professional touch as our official sound engineer.
